Workshops on STEM Subjects at "Medical High School" - Podgorica, Montenegro
As part of Work Package WP5, an informational session titled "Workshop on STEM Subjects" was held on February 28, 2025, at the Medical High School in Montenegro and aimed to promote the importance of STEM disciplines among secondary school students, with a particular focus on encouraging female participation in these fields.
The session highlighted the importance of STEM education for female students, the challenges of gender imbalance in STEM professions, and opportunities for further academic and professional development. Students were introduced to international education programs such as Erasmus+, which offer exchange programs, scholarships, and participation in international projects.
The session fostered engagement and discussion, with 20 female students actively participating, sharing their perspectives, and expressing interest in pursuing STEM careers. The event contributed to the ESN-AIR project's broader mission of strengthening international collaboration, enhancing education, and increasing youth involvement in STEM disciplines.
