Workshop on STEM Subjects "Medical Secondary School" in Podgorica, Montenegro

The workshop was organized as part of the promotion of the Open Day of the University of Montenegro, which took place on March 4, 2026, at the Medical Secondary School in Podgorica.

During the session, students were introduced to the importance of STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), as well as the numerous opportunities these fields offer for further academic development and career advancement. A special segment of the session was dedicated to presenting international educational programmes, such as Erasmus+, which provide opportunities for further development in STEM fields through student exchanges, scholarships, and participation in international projects.

The session was led by Dr. Aleksandra Gezović Miljanić, Teaching Associate at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Montenegro, who spoke about the importance of STEM fields for high school students and their significance for future academic and professional development. The session was also attended by Ana Zdravkov, Associate at the Centre for International Cooperation and Career Development.

The session was attended by 27 high school students, who actively participated in the discussion and showed great interest in topics related to education and career opportunities in STEM fields.
