Awareness campaign in the Public Primary School "Milorad Musa Burzan" - Podgorica

The workshop was held on December 15th, 2025 with the participation of 36 pupils in Podgorica, Montenegro.

On this occasion, primary school pupils had the opportunity to learn basic information about the Erasmus+ program, the work and activities of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), as well as various forms of volunteering and opportunities for active engagement in student and youth organizations. The goal of the workshop was to raise young people’s awareness of the importance of volunteering, active citizenship, and participation in Erasmus+ and other international educational programs that contribute to personal, academic, and professional development. Pupils were presented with concrete steps they can take to become part of these programs in the future, as well as how they can contribute to their community through volunteer engagement. Special emphasis was placed on the role of volunteers in community development and on the importance of active youth participation in society. Through interactive discussions, pupils were encouraged to recognize their own potential as active citizens and to develop key social and personal skills through volunteering. During the workshop, students were given QR codes that provided access to digital leaflets titled “Be an Active Citizen”, prepared as part of the project by the University of Split.
